The Product Development team will identify the timeline, scope, and cost requirements associated with your project.
1-2 weeks after receiving all the information about your product, a preliminary Statement of Work (SOW) outlining the cost and scope of the project will be sent for your approval.
By signing and returning the SOW, a test batch can now be scheduled. In 2-4 weeks, an initial prototype will be produced and delivered to you for approval. Note: if applicable, prototype lead time begins when customer-supplied materials arrive. The test batch is free of charge. At this time, labels can be designed and the proofing process started.
Upon approval of the final prototype, you will get a final SOW. After signing the final SOW, the required Master Manufacturing Record (MMR) will be filed, the label can be finalized, and a purchase order (PO) can be accepted. Upon PO acceptance, prior to the creation of work orders, a 50% deposit is due with the remaining 50% due at shipment. After an ongoing relationship is established, net 30 terms can be evaluated.
Lead times will be determined by product type and material availability, including customer-supplied ingredients and packaging. Quality control systems are put into place at each phase of the manufacturing process. High quality is the number one goal at Uckele.
