Uckele Animal Health Distributing, Inc. was founded by William Uckele Sr. to help farmers in southeast Michigan feed their livestock better. That beginning sparked a passion among future generations of the Uckele family for applying scientifically-proven nutritional principles in practical ways to improve the lives of animals and humans alike.
Still family-owned and privately held, Uckele Health & Nutrition, Inc. is able to pursue its passion for helping others achieve optimal health through nutrition across the world, without compromising for the kind of short-term goals that corporations must pursue to keep investors happy.
The company has demonstrated an enormous capacity for flexibility, innovation, and diversity. Uckele formulates unique, ground-breaking supplements using cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities to produce products formulated for animals and people.

Uckele’s daily operations take place on two campuses in four GMP- compliant manufacturing facilities. We continually invest in the latest technology and equipment to produce supplements in a broad range of forms including capsules, tablets, liquids, powders, soft gels, chewables, sublinguals, pellets, pastes, and more. Additionally, Uckele has a manufacturing facility strictly for topical products such as liniments, salves, creams, liquids, and gels.
Our Robust Product Development Team
Uckele’s robust team of Certified Nutritionists, Chemists, Quality Experts, and Product Development Specialists consists of some of the best and brightest minds in the nutrition industry.
As an added benefit for our customers, we don’t charge for development unless there is a new inventory ingredient that has a relatively high cost of acquisition for samples or minimum orders. We will make a test batch or prototype for your review as part of your product development process.
